Conclusion
After the analysis and travel this project evolved into a study of public space within urban environments. I stated in my preface that cities are the epicenters of society. The public spaces within them are of major importance for immediate social interaction in an age of electronic communication. These spaces are more important than any other because they form the relationships between the individual pieces of the city. They cannot just be the leftover spaces of the built environment. These spaces are what characterizes the city. This proposal is an integration of the public city and specific programmatic elements, in order to break down the divisions which occur between the city and the specific functions taking place within it.
