Located
at the juncture of the Miami river and Biscayne bay, the design strived to integrate
4 modes of transportation, boats, autos, rail and pedestrian. Located in downtown
Miami, the design is a tool within to resolve these relationships. The terminal
devotes a large part of the design towards public space in the formation of
a vertical park. Linking to, and creating a new experience on the existing waterfront
park and the city context while accommodating various sized ships.
